Director of Physical Therapy

A leader in the post secondary higher education industry is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist /Physical Therapist Assistant as Director of Physical Therapy.
Esssential Duties:
- Coordinate programmatic faculty meetings, curriculum review & advisory board meetings
- Manage accreditation reports, reviews, current licensure requirements for faculty in program
- Ensures the clinical education sites meet or exceeds the objectives of the program by developing, implementing, assessing affiliate clinical relationships.
- Teaches, supervises and evaluates students' academic performance, learning outcomes and course objectives. Serves as liaison between students and clinical staff.
- Participates in recruitment and retention of faculty, new faculty training and orientation.
- Responsible for faculty & class schedules and recruiting members for Program Advisory Committee
- Provides advisement and guidance for intellectual and professional development of students.
- Participate in college committees, interdepartmental meetings
Education:
- Master's degree in physical therapy preferred.
Experience:
- 2 years clinical experience as a physical therapist assistant or physical therapist.
- Prior teaching experience in a physical therapist assistant/physical therapist academic program preferred.
- Licensed/registered/certified as a physical therapist assistant or physical therapist.
